Young Shok Chung is a senior advisor in the Banking & Finance Group. Prior to joining Lee & Ko, he served at the Insurance Supervisory Board and the Financial Supervisory Service for over 32 years, and has extensive experience and expertise in financial regulatory fields, including supervision, licensing, inspection and insurance consumer protection, specialized credit finance companies and value-added network providers.

While at the Insurance Supervisory Board and the Financial Supervisory Service, Mr. Chung was in charge of financial company licensing, review and amendment of the Insurance Business Act and financial consumer law, supervision of business activities of bancassurance and insurance agencies (GA), financial product brokerage and advertising, reinsurance brokerage and personal information protection. Based on his years of experience and in-depth knowledge, he provides practical and effective advice to clients on financial regulatory matters.
