Taeahn Gwon is a partner in Lee & Ko and a member of the White Collar Crime Group. Previously, he worked for the Financial Supervisory Service in Seoul and the Ministry of Economy and Finance in Sejong, and he passed the CPA exam in 2017(United States, Maine). He was also a public-service judge advocate in the Ministry of Justice.
Taeahn advises businesses and individuals on white collar and financial crime issues and has significant experience conducting investigations relating to compliance with the environmental and sustainability matters. He has participated in whistleblower interviews and has led investigations relating to allegations of fraud, embezzlement and bribery. He also has extensive experience litigating criminal environmental matters. His expertise in environmental and safety law complements his investigations practice.
